What are people saying about the
band?
“The Juke Joint headliner was the Sara Brown Band of
Kettle Falls, fronted by Sara on vocals, with Dave Keeley
on guitar, Jesse Brown on bass, and Jeff Curtiss on drums.
This band also did some righteous arrangements pf blues standards,
including “Stormy Monday”, “Chain of Fools”,
“Sweet Home Chicago”, and “Teeny Weenie
Bit of Your Love”, intermixed with originals such as
“Lay Me Right Down” and “Preacher Man”.
Sara’s strong, rich vocals soared above her accompaniment
to a level rivaling some of her more famous predecessors…a
red-haired Aretha, maybe? Act quickly when tickets become
available for this bands next performance – I’m
sure that many of the folks who attended ‘Juke Joint
Women’ will be there ahead of you…” -
Jerry Peterson, Inland Empire Blues Society “Inside
Blues” January 2012
In my 20+ years of booking bands for our local festivals,
few groups have captivated the crowd as well as the Sara Brown
Band. Sara's dynamic voice and presence, backed by very talented
musicians, produces a performance with style and class. This
band will no doubt be in demand in the future so be sure to
check them out soon. You won't be disappointed. Our crowds
absolutely loves them!- Fran Bolt, Marcus Cider Fest
Sara fronts the band with a strong, amazing voice; Dave plays
powerful, bluesy guitar; Jesse creates solid, moving Bass
lines & Jeff provides great timing and feel on his Drum
kit. Soulful music, good people and danceable tunes... Check
out The Sara Brown Band when you get a chance- you will be
impressed! - Brion Foster, 98.9 KKZX Spokane, WA
In my 13 years of producing and promoting concerts aimed
at younger demographics, I have seen hundreds of bands perform.
Few have a lead vocalist with as much talent as the Sara Brown
Band. She is lively and extremely positive, plus she can really
belt out a song. Her range and control is impressive. Backed
by a very capable band, this is one act to not miss.- Dale
Strom, RSN Productions, Spokane, WA
As the N. E. Washington Fair Director, I am always looking
for new, fresh and local talent and Wow. I was so pleased
with the Sara Brown Band. Sara comes from many generations
of music and talent and her range and vocals are amazing.
I love her blues music and you will not be able to sit still
for long. Looking forward to next year. - Lori Matlock.
